A lot of our clients have found termite activity themselves. Usually they find their windows or door frames are hollowed out, or their skirting board is soft, often only a layer of paint protecting the termites inside. The first thing to do is not to disturb the termite damage. Our technicians will come as quick as possible and will get a much more successful treatment if the termites are still working undisturbed.

Every termite warranty requires as a condition, that the property is inspected for termite activity at least once a year. For example our company Nature Fresh Termite Management, when using the product "Termidor" for a complete chemical barrier around a house, gives an 8 year warranty. This warranty is conditional on having an annual inspection.
Termite Barriers

Termites are present in the soil, actively looking for wood to eat all the time. To stop them from getting into our houses we use termite barriers. This can be chemical or physical or a combination of both depending on how the house was built. Houses in Queensland were traditional built on wooden house stumps to separate them from the ground with metal ant caps on top of the stumps to prevent termites from entering the house.

Mice and rats can sometime come into your home. If rodents are in your house, you might hear them, see them or their droppings or the damage they cause. We can place rodent bait in a safe place in your home as needed or combined with your annual pest control as a precaution. Baits placed in the roof space once a year may be all that is needed to keep them under control.
