This will be our place now to stay when we visit the Ville. Awesome location, very affordable, room are extremely clean with everything you need. Close and Walking distance to restaurants, shopping centre to which is a just a short walk. The owners of hotel are so lovely and made sure we were enjoying our stay. Cafe at front is great for breakfast/brunch with such lovely friendly staff. Didn’t want to leave back will definitely be back. Highly recommend on such a lovely place to stay. Thank you Rosemary for looking after us during our stay it was such a pleasure meeting you until we visit again

Only $100 a night but room was a bit dusty on shelves of microwave and tv. Bathroom was also not cleaned to a high enough standard with hair and dust behind door and behind toilet. Under the bed had not been vacuumed or cleaned for quite awhile. Working in the hotel industry I am very familiar with cleaning standards and regardless of cost this is not acceptable. Go stay at reef lodge backpackers it’s cheaper and much better. Or spend a little more and stay somewhere better.

Beautiful staff, especially the cleaner! The view and location is just amazing. You are getting more than you pay for with this, don’t expect luxury inside, you spend your time staring at the phenomenal view anyway! Loved our stay.

Room was dirty. Bathroom had mould and the air conditioner was disgusting. Very run down and not maintained. Great location but I would not stay here again.

This hidden gem is the place to be, if you want a quiet, comfortable stay with a beach view & walking distances to anything you'll need in the tropical of FNQ.
John in reception is an absolute gentleman & will move mountains to accommodate you. The housekeeping team are phenomenal- my room was immaculate & they are so friendly.
I'd give 100 stars if I could.

Other than the room itself being fairly clean, this place is definitely not up to motel standards. We came into reception on arrival were an elderly man (who was not friendly) had trouble finding our booking. There were five of us in total and we had originally booked two seperate rooms. However the man had said he could put us all together in a large family room which was located opposite to the other hotel rooms. We had told the man that we wanted the two rooms we had booked and paid for, however, he was adamant we should go into the family room because there wouldn't be enough space for everyone

Excellent location- perfect for walking along the Strand. Close to the restaurants/bars and also close enough to walk to the city centre. Nice and quiet. Great staff, great cafe on site with a great view. Bed comfy enough. Small typical old motel room with air con and ceiling fan. Everything you need for 1-2nights. Probably no longer. Park right outside room. Small pool also. Very short walk to Coles etc right behind Motel.

We stayed here in February 2020 whilst traveling in Australia. We stayed in one on the lower suites facing the unbuilt side of the big hotel bar restaurant. We were there for five nights. It is basic old and dated but lovely friendly staff fresh linden and whatever you needed you just asked. The pool was too hot to swim in so was not used.
We walked the streets at nights and travelled in our rental car during the hot hot daytime temperatures. 34 to 35 C. Loved it. We came from Canada our winter.
Lots to do but we were selective and visited magnetic island on guided tour. Lovely place. Could not

I am not the type of customer to give a 1 star rating but on this occasion I felt I had to. I booked a room here 7 days before I arrived. I arranged a late check in as my flight wasn't landing until 10pm. The office confirmed this was not a problem. On arrival reception was closed and there was no answer from the after hours number supplied. I tried numerous times and also tried over 10 other hotels for a room but the town was booked out. I was forced to sleep outside the reception on a steel chair in the freezing cold with my luggage. When the reception opened the morning after I was greeted by
