Dr. Barrera is a Medical Doctor, obtaining a fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has over 30 years experience in general medicine, pediatrics and cosmetic medicine.
After working in general medicine as a doctor dealing with patients physical and emotional concerns, Dr. Barrera was attracted to aesthetic medicine as a new form of counselling where she could not only help improve patients physical appearance but self-esteem, confidence and overall sense of wellbeing.Dr. Barrera is a well respected and admired member of the Latin American community for her down to earth, generous, warm and friendly nature.
