Ozcare

Ozcare was established as a special work of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland in 1996. The Society, as a lay Catholic organisation, aspires to live the gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice, hope and joy, and by working to shape a more just and compassionate society.

It takes a special kind of person, and organisation, to provide the vast range of services we do, and it's for this reason we launched our Ozheart program, to recognise the very biggest hearts in Ozcare and the exceptional work they do. Each month we recognise the accomplishments of our employees who make a positive difference in the lives of residents, clients, and colleagues.

Ozcare is a leading not-for-profit organisation employing approximately 3,000 staff to care for nearly 15,000 individuals. We provide a diverse range of health and community-based services, including aged care, dementia care, NDIS, disability & health services.

For the past 24 years, our purpose has been to improve our clients' quality of life through the delivery of personalised health and human services in the spirit of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland.To achieve our purpose, we hire carers, nurses, allied health professionals, dementia specialists, case managers, administrators, hospitality staff and corporate professionals to work from over 35 locations around Queensland.

Move into one of our aged care facilities located throughout Queensland, and you'll be cared for around the clock by our experienced team of nurses, carers, allied health professionals, cooks and client service staff. At Ozcare, we see our clients as part of our family so always go the extra mile to learn about you and your life story.

If you are finding it hard to manage by yourself at home, you can move into aged care accommodation permanently with us. With Ozcare, you enjoy a relaxed, homely environment, safe in the knowledge that registered nurses and trained care workers are here to support you 24 hours a day. All you need to do is move in and make your room your own with photos, mementos, your favourite armchair and bedspread, and we'll take care of the rest.
