YDMG has existed in the town of Yarrawonga in one form or another for over 100 years and provides comprehensive, patient-centred, quality medical care to the local community. Patients who have been seen in our clinic in the last 12 months (Face-to-face) are eligible to be offered Telehealth appointments either by PHONE or VIDEO call.

The regular cost of a medical consultation still apply as per our current billing structure. Please phone our receptionists to make an appointment and when your phone or video consult is booked they will provide you with all the details on how to connect with your Doctor. Disabled access is available with ramps leading to street level from both sides of the carpark and wheelchairs /walkers available if required.

YDMG is a fully accredited general medical practice. We offer a complete range of medical services. Please feel free to ask our office staff to direct you to a suitable doctor if you have a particular problem that you would like to discuss. The practice has sufficient after hours/urgent arrangements procedures in place, with our doctors sharing an on-call roster at the hospital, with the other clinic in town.

Dr Tania Jones commenced working in Yarrawonga in 2001. Tania enjoys all aspects of General Practice with special interest in antenatal care, women's health and children's health. She also participates in GPs in Schools and teaching all levels of medical learners. Dr. Murali Ooruthiran is a medical practitioner with over 25 years' experience.

We have a strong commitment to training and we liaise closely with our training provider Murray City Country Coast GP Training (MCCC), the M2M Intern Program, and the University of Melbourne ERC Program.

The Chronic Disease Management (CDM) program works to engage with GPs, AHPs, practice nurses and practice staff to enhance chronic disease management and optimise preventative health strategies. If you have a chronic medical condition, you may be eligible for Medicare benefits if your doctor prepares the following plans for you.
