The Melbourne Meditation Centre runs regular meditation and mindfulness courses, workshops and retreats for people who wish to learn how to relax their bodies and calm their minds - anywhere, and at any time. We teach meditation and mindfulness as simple, practical skills. Because we don't require you to sit cross-legged, or stop thinking, or to meditate for hours on end, our students find the techniques we share easy and enjoyable.

Beginners Courses

It will be run online via Zoom. Our six-week course is a great place to begin if you are new to meditation and mindfulness, or looking to refine and develop your skills. If you have a busy mind (and life), lack discipline and can't sit still, that's no problem. Our approach is user-friendly, realistic and practical.
Teacher Training

Learn to teach meditation and mindfulness under the guidance of Melbourne Meditation Centre Director, Matt Young. Expect a down-to-earth, non-religious approach in which you are introduced to a wide range of techniques that can be integrated into a busy life.

The course is practical and experiential, fully accredited and focuses on teaching you how to present meditation and mindfulness in a gentle, user-friendly style that will appeal to a wide range of audiences.Instead of presenting you with a 'right' way to teach, you will be supported and encouraged to develop your own way of teaching.
