Camden Dental Centre
We have carefully selected a team of highly skilled professionals who share our commitment to providing the best level of care to our patients. Vik has 15 years of orthodontic experience and has completed a 2-year further study course in Orthodontics. Dr Vikas Bhasin was born and raised in Western Sydney.

With aspirations to doing something hands-on, where he could play with the latest technology, dentistry seemed the perfect profession. After graduating from the University of Sydney with Honours in 1996, Dr Bhasin worked in Camden for 3 years, before travelling to the United Kingdom. Upon returning to Australia, he spent the next few years gaining experience in a wide range of dental practices in Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong and Taree.

Report
A gentle, conservative, non-invasive method of treating gum disease without cutting, suturing or removing gum tissue. It is virtually painless and could save your teeth. It is the proven alternative to gum surgery. Traditional treatment of gum disease involves cutting the gums, scraping your teeth, drilling bone and placing stitches.
New Patients
Report
At your first visit, you will be asked by our friendly reception staff to provide your completed New Patient Information Questionnaire. At this appointment, you will have the chance to discuss with your dentist any dental concerns. Your dentist will examine your teeth, gums, jaw joints, bite and existing restorations (fillings, crowns, veneers) as well as your tongue, throat, cheeks and lips to ensure your whole mouth is in the best of health.
Preventative Dentistry
Report
We believe in it so much we have a specialised preventative program in place, which is individualised to suit the needs of each patient. Prevention is a team effort between the dental team and patients. Together, we can prevent dental problems. Maintaining a healthy mouth is important for overall health and wellbeing.
Gums and Periodontal Health
Report
Bacteria that have been left behind after cleaning, multiply and form colonies (plaque). These colonies are protected by calculus or tartar - the hard yellow and sometimes black build-up around teeth. These bacteria produce toxins that irritate the gums (gingiva) and lead to bleeding and swelling.
Emergency Care
Report
Woken up in the middle of the night from tooth pain? Even with the best dental care, occasionally an emergency situation can crop up leaving you scrambling to find solutions. At Camden Dental Centre, if you are in pain, we offer our patients the opportunity to come in and see a dentist on the day we are contacted.
