We believe we are Brisbane's best barefoot bowling venue with over 26,000 social bowlers per year who agree with us. We offer a fantastic open air facility with plenty of space and parking and with our new 150 seat marquee there is space for any group and type of event. We are the oldest bowls club in Queensland Est. 1888 with the most experience in providing fabulous contemporary food in a fun and friendly atmosphere. 1888 was a different time and Queensland was a very different place with the pulse of life being more in tune with our historical ancestry. The forefathers of Booroodabin Bowls Club were not only gentlemen they were genteel, testament to this is the prose of the day. Our philosophy for food is "buy local, support local". We house-make 95% of all ingredients and their finished dishes. Our dips, desserts, beef patties, mayos, aioli, chutney and pickles just to name a few are prepared in house from scratch. Our Beverage List caters for everyone and all occasions; we understand quality and value for money.
Bowling

A Staff member will give you the run down on the game of bowls beforehand and be available during your play. We are family friendly and children are welcome at our venue. Children under the age of 12 are free. Children over 5 are allowed on the greens and can have a bowl if supervised by their parent/adult.

We are proud of our newest addition to The Boo, a 150 seat Marquee that now provides a special place for Corporate Events, Weddings and other functions. As time and money permit we will continue to invest in this facility to ensure that it provides all patrons with a space that meets their expectations.
