Alzburg Resort as we know it today, has had a long and fascinating history, from its origins as a convent in 1890s to its current incarnation as a much loved Resort, with a vast range of boutique accommodation, ski hire, expansive gardens, event spaces and a fun family friendly 'vibe'. In the late 1880's Mansfield's clusters of Irish settlers purchased a two-acre block near the church, with the idea of attracting an order of religious sisters.
