Dandenong Pest Control
Dandenong Pest Control was established in 1976. It was formerly known as R. Ridd Pest Control and in 1988 changed its name to Dandenong Pest & Weed Control Pty Ltd as Dandenong was the main central point that everybody knew. Dandenong Pest Control has always been located in Beaconsfield and was named "Dandenong" as not many people were aware of our little town of Beaconsfield.

Today Beaconsfield is a well-established suburb in Melbourne's South East. DPC (Dandenong Pest Control) is a family owned and operated company. The directors George and Denise Knol have owned and operated DPC since 1990. Technicians George, Gary and Simon have 70 years combined knowledge in the Pest Control Industry.

Bees
Report
The honeybee is a social insect that lives in a hive. The Hive maintains a temperature of 33.9 degrees and is constructed of honeycomb converted by the collection of nectar, pollen, water and secret wax. The honeybee is a great insect for the environment and with its pollination skills it makes our gardens bloom.
Cockroaches
Report
Cockroaches are close relatives of termites. They are a highly successful group of animal whose origin extends back at least 300 million years. While there are about 3,500 species of cockroaches worldwide, only about 10 species are found in our dwellings. Cockroaches are mostly nocturnal creatures, hiding during the day and becoming active soon after dark, seeking food.
Rodents
Report
Rats and mice belong to the group known as rodents (from the Latin rodere 'to gnaw') This name refers to their gnawing habit which is necessary to control the size of their chisel shaped front teeth. Our experienced technicians at Dandenong Pest Control Pty Ltd often witness damaged homes due to the constant gnawing on and through plumbing and electrical pipes/cables.
Spiders
Report
Most spiders are nocturnal. They are hardly seen during the day unless they are disturbed from their natural environment. When light fades spiders become active. They leave the protection of their burrows or shelters and go out in search of food or in the case of web spinning. Spiders construct their webs to snare prey.
