The heartbeat is the natural rhythm of human life. We are all born with a heartbeat, and therefore; we all have a natural sense of rhythm. Children have the ability to tap out a rhythm from birth, and we encourage every child to explore this ability and make music their lifelong friend. The J Percussion Music School was established in 1992 originated from Taiwan with the mission of "Bringing music into every child's life".
Since then, more than 30 branches have been introduced and over 100,000 musical talents have been fostered. JPMS Australia formally known, as Vivace Group is the first international school and opened in 2006, followed various school in China. Our success came from the methodology: it allows children to experience true joy through music, and subsequently stimulates interest in studying music.

J Percussion Music School has meticulously designed courses for percussion compositions as well as spoken and sung nursery rhymes. These courses allow children to gently gain rhythm and pitch accuracy. Our methods will naturally motivate your child to further their music studies. Children have a natural ability to understand music!
Individual Program

A free introductory lesson for leisure or academic / AMEB purposes is available for Drumkit, Percussion, Piano and Theory. The Individual Percussion lesson is for anyone aged 6 and above who wishes to learn percussion for the AMEB exam, academic purposes or leisure. Our centre is equipped with professional instruments and are capable to host AMEB exams.

We were invited to perform at the Multicultural Dinner held by Premier of Queenslands, Hon. For the event, we performed a group piece which consisted of our senior Jacob Agapow, Jennifer Lin, Edmond Chang, Tina Huang, Timothy Lang as well as solos performed by Jennifer Lin.
It was a good opportunity for the students to experience a different performance format than they are used to and we would like to thank the organisers of this event for inviting our students to perform for them.2016 marks the third year we are holding the invidual concert.

There are a wide variety of instruments in the family of percussion. Apart from keyboard instruments such as xylophone and marimba, percussion instruments also include a wide range of drums. Children will have the opportunity to explore all the percussion instruments. A complete musical piece can be produced only by the collective effort of instruments.

Our Instrument Bag has been specially designed for your child to use both in class and at home. This compact backpack contains a variety of instruments designed to engage your child's interest and encourage passion for their musical education. The tambourine can be played in numerous ways: stroke or shake it, strike it with the hand or stick, or tap it against the leg or hip.
