Joey's Cottage Preschool is a purpose built, privately owned and operated early education, preschool and childcare centre established in 1994 and based in Chipping Norton. With over 30 years experience in early childhood and primary education, we are committed to providing the highest standards in education and childcare for children aged 3-6 years.

Our centre is deeply committed to providing a warm challenging and positive environment to encourage each child to develop to his/her fullest potential at their own pace as well as gain independence, initiative and positive self-esteem. Children learn through collaboration and communication with other children and adults as they interact with their environment.

Joey's Cottage is made up of two educational rooms, the Rosellas and Pelicans catering for mixed aged groups. The learning environment is designed to facilitate children's interest and extend on their learning. We aim to assist the children to develop to their full potential by providing a challenging and positive environment, to encourage each child to gain independence, initiative, problem solving skills, positive self-esteem.

Enrolments And Fees

Under State and Commonwealth government funding agreements, we are required to follow priority of access guidelines. Priority 2: a child of a single parent who satisfies, or of parents who both satisfy, the work, training, study test. After your position has been offered a security bond is payable to Joey's Cottage.
On Your First Day

The first day of preschool is a time of excitement and uncertainty for many families. It is common for children (and parents) to experience feelings of anxiety in the lead up to starting care. It takes time for them to adjust to their routine, build relationships, and understand that their new preschool is a fun, safe, and happy place.
