The original old weatherboard home was replaced in the mid 1960's by the present surgery, which has been extensively renovated over the years. The doctors in our practice are well established general practitioners with many years of family medical practice experience and have satisfied the training requirements of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners for vocational registration.

Making An Appointment

SATURDAY morning consults will be made by Telehealth. After your telephone consult, your doctor will determine whether you require a face to face appointment on the day or early in the following week. Some doctors are consulting face to face appointments on Saturdays. For any urgent matters, you may be redirected to the emergency department.

TELEHEALTH CONSULTATIONS have been extended, however, a 12 month rule has been introduced by Medicare. This means you must have seen your doctor in the past 12 months to be eligible for a telehealth consultation. Full Fees (No concessions) apply between 5pm - 7pm weekdays and $48.20 for children under 16 years.
Patient Services

With patient consent, we offer registration for reminders / recalls for preventative activities with State/National based reminder systems or registers. Patients will be directly notified of abnormal or urgent results by their doctor or will be contacted either via a phone call or via HotDoc SMS message, to make an appointment to come in and see their GP.

We offer family planning, menopausal advice, hormone replacement therapy, cervical screening tests and breast examinations. Men are offered regular health checks, blood pressure checks, cholesterol checks, prostate checks & advice and treatment on sexual health.
