Established 30 years ago in 1989, we are Australia's largest manufacturer of Bowling Club shades. We hold a solid reputation for supplying quality shades and we take pride in our services and fully guarantee our products & workmanship. Shadex shades and designs are highly regarded throughout Australia as the industry standard for Bowling Clubs and throughout these last 30 years we have more than 11,000 shades erected in over 1,000 Clubs.

Specifically designed and certified by Registered Structural Engineers, Shadex Shades are built to strict specifications ensuring years of service. All steel is Australian made BHP to guarantee longevity and performance, NO Chinese steel is ever used at Shadex. The structural steel is cold rolled galvanised then powder coated to our requirements.
Shadeway 2000 & 3000

The Shadeway 2000 is very affordable and extremely versatile. A standard shade consists of seven sections of 4.7m (one for each rink). Each section can be extended, tensioned and retracted individually. When all sections of a standard shade are extended they form a continuous run down the bank for approximately 33m.
Shademaster

Our Shademaster was designed to fill the need created by Bowls Clubs to ensure maximum playing comfort for bowlers on hot sunny days. Our Shademaster will provide relief from the dangers of excessive sun exposure and dehydration that can occur during a normal game of Bowls. The Shademaster will provide a cooler and healthier environment for players.
Aluminium Seats

Built to Australian Standard Specification, our aluminium seats are made from Australian high grade anodised aluminium extrusion, have aluminium legs and cast aluminium alloy endcaps. All bolts, nuts & washers are made from Stainless Steel, and on Baseplate models Stainless Steel Dynabolts are supplied with the seats.
