Services include period-appropriate paint matching, structural woodwork repairs, and traditional finishing techniques. We maintain historical integrity while modernising durability through specialist coatings. Preparation involves careful surface analysis to preserve original features during repaints.
Exterior Painting
Comprehensive exterior painting for gables, walls, gutters, and woodwork. We employ weather-resistant coatings and proper surface preparation to withstand Perth's climate. Our team uses scaffolding and elevated platforms for safe two-storey applications. Services include bargeboard restoration, render painting, and UV-protective finishes to maintain property aesthetics and structural integrity.
Water Damage Repairs
Specialist remediation for water-damaged ceilings and fire-affected surfaces. We use two-pack industrial paints and moisture-resistant primers to restore compromised areas. The process includes damaged plaster removal, substrate stabilisation, and seamless blending with existing finishes. Our techniques prevent future cracking while maintaining visual consistency across treated zones.
Commercial Painting
Tailored painting solutions for small commercial spaces including offices, retail outlets, and light industrial facilities. We would recommend Dan to anyone. He recently painted the front rooms of our house and did a great job. We chose him based on the positive Google reviews about his attention to detail, and we weren't disappointed. Dan was professional, friendly, and easy to communicate with. He clearly takes pride in his work, and left the place neat and tidy. We look forward to having him back to paint the rest of the house.

BEST TRADE I'VE HAD WORK ON MY HOUSE! And I've used a lot of trades! I waited 9 months to have Dan paint my weatherboard and it was worth the wait. I wanted a quality job, no one coat wonder, no corner cutting - and that's what I got with Dan. Not the cheapest - but value everywhere. In my experience, if you don't supervise a lot of trades - they will get away what they can - not so with Dan. He painted my house like it was his home and did a stunning job. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We are absolutely thrilled with the work we have had done by DB Painting.
Dan’s attention to detail and excellent workmanship have made our paint job not only look fantastic- but we know it will last! He doesn’t cut corners or rush the job but meticulously takes as long as it takes to do the job properly; a true perfectionist.
Dan has a very… gentle disposition and was friendly, respectful and kind in all of his interactions with us and our children. It was a pleasure to have him around.
Dan was also very safety conscious - ensuring that doors and windows were locked/closed and

We were very impressed with the final product on what we were told by Dan the worst walls he had ever seen. Dan was professional throughout and, with his attention to detail, ensures that the job is done properly. Would definitely recommend Dans painting services (along with dog sitting)!
