The Beck Family have owned and managed Riverfront Motel & Villas since 2003 and have been busy improving the property and the service provided ever since. With a background in commercial fishing and farming, the Restaurant & Bar has been a real focus of improvement in the last few years and the locals have certainly caught on!

We stayed in one bedroom, it was very clean and the view from our room was the very good. We got beautiful visitors( ducks and ducklings) as well. The best part was the nice walk by the lake near our room.

Stayed three nights in two bedroom unit. It was clean and spacious enough for four adults and two children. Very friendly and helpful staff - organised a unit for us quickly when our dates had been mixed up, then were happy to send home something we had left in our room. Convenient spot close to the main road and shops. Highly recommended.

I've eaten here a number of times. Food is nice and reasonably priced. It's had a recent refresh but still has that nice retro vibe to it. I would definitely recommend eating here.

The view was good. The breaky was awesome. The rooms were clean but the toilet was leaking. Otherwise everything was good. Will surely come back soon maybe monthly and recommend others.

Stayed in the 2 bedroom villa, it was large and clean. Lots of storage and very usable kitchen. Lovely grounds and outlook over the river. The older motel and restaurant have retained their mid-century feel which I enjoyed.
The restaurant prices are at the top end but meals are huge and tasty. The service is friendly.

Was here for a group tea in the restaurant. Big meal servings, nice and tasty. A bit squashed on the table, they seemed to squeeze all seats in when setting up, lucky we had a couple not turn up so was able to space ourselves out a bit. Staff were friendly.

Outstanding. We’ve paid hundreds more for places that don’t offer this level of service. Rooms are well appointed, if a little dated (but for this price point who can complain)
Restaurant was amazing!!! And the room was perfect for a family of 4, complete with little bedroom for the kids.
Every member of staff was polite and friendly.
Absolute value for money!!!

Have stayed here multiple times and it's one of the cleanest places I've visited. I've stayed in both the motel rooms and villas and both were excellent. Friendly staff who could show some of the other places in Hobart a thing or two about customer service. Highly recommended.
