Solomon Kosher Butcher produces a range of Kosher food products for kosher customers throughout Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. Solomon's has been a family owned and operated business for over 50 years. It prides itself on providing the highest quality products and service. Solomon's employs over 50 people at its two facilities at Elsternwick and Laverton, both in Victoria, many of which have been with the business for several decades.
Our range of poultry (chicken, turkey and duck) is specifically grown for us at a number of farms throughout Victoria. Our poultry is processed in our very own purpose built fully kosher production facility. Our chickens are different to a normal chicken.

Solomon Kosher Butcher is certified Mehadrin under the supervision of Chabad Kashrus Victoria. Chabad Kashrus was established by members of the Melbourne Chabad community, under the auspices of the late Rabbi Yitzchok Dovid Groner OBM in 1975. This followed from a directive by the late Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson OBM, to establish a Lubavitcher Shechita in Melbourne, Australia.
