Early Learning Programs
Our early learning programs foster holistic development through play-based, interest-led activities. Children aged 6 weeks to 5 years engage in Reggio Emilia-inspired curricula that promote creativity, social skills, and cognitive growth. Qualified educators design tailored experiences that align with the National Quality Standard, ensuring school readiness and lifelong learning foundations.
Free Kindy Program
Eligible families receive 15 hours of weekly kindergarten education at no cost under Queensland's Free Kindy initiative. Our program combines literacy, numeracy, and physical development with inquiry-based learning. Educators support smooth transitions to school through structured activities and graduation ceremonies.
Outside School Hours Care
We provide before and after school care, plus vacation programs for school-aged children. Activities focus on social interaction, recreation, and homework support in safe environments. Flexible booking options accommodate working families while promoting independence and community engagement.
Reggio Emilia Curriculum
Our Reggio Emilia-inspired approach prioritises child-led exploration and collaborative projects. Educators observe and document learning journeys, creating responsive environments that nurture curiosity. Natural materials and open-ended resources encourage creativity, problem-solving, and environmental awareness across all age groups.
Family Engagement Programs
We encourage family involvement through learning journals, studio projects, and Storypark app updates. Regular communication ensures parents stay informed about their child's progress. Workshops and events strengthen home-centre connections, supporting consistent development strategies.

This childcare centre did not uphold their duty of care at all and is completely unprofessional. My child came home dirty everyday the staff didnt even wipe his face let alone change his clothes, he was constantly getting sick because of this. I took him out when I came to collect him on a rainy day and found him outside shivering and soaking wet, lips purple as the staff carelessly allowed him to play in a bucket of water because they couldnt calm him down - taking the easy way out instead of finding a more suitable option.

The staff are friendly and approachable. It's amazing when you see the results that not only you put in but the teachers as well. My toddlers would rather stay and play then come home!

We love Capalaba Kids because the staff are all very welcoming and caring, and Peyton has learnt so much whilst she's been there.
