Services
Anaesthesia
Report
Anaesthesia is one of the most crucial components of veterinary medicine and surgery, and as such one of the areas we take very seriously at Larkhill Small Animal Hospital. We only use the safest anaesthetic protocols and agents on our patients and strive to provide the safest regimes to facilitate pain free surgery and recovery.
Dentistry
Report
Your pets dental hygiene(just like your own!), is very important to their ongoing health. Whether your pet has bad breath, dental disease, retained teeth, or whether you just want to do the best by maintaining their oral health, our practice is very well equipped to cater to their general dental needs.
Surgery
Report
Soft tissue surgery essentially encompasses all the non bone (orthopaedic) surgery. At Larkhill Vets our team of experienced surgeons perform all kinds of soft tissue surgery from the simplest of small lacerations, desexings and growth removals, right through to complex abdominal and thoracic surgery.
Digital Radiology
Report
Digital radiology is a relatively new technology which has been employing at Larkhill Vets since 2009. We have 2 digital machines in use, both a CR system and a DR system.

Digital radiology has revolutionized radiology world wide, not only as it removes all the hazardous chemicals associated with old school x-ray development, but more importantly it enables immediate imaging of the patients and the ability of the veterinarians to change the contrast, magnification etc of the image to vastly increase the ability to make a more accurate diagnosis.
Endoscopy & Ultrasound
Report
Ultrasound is a non-invasive, modern technique that produces a visual real time image of the interior of the body. Unlike conventional X-rays which can carry a small risk to both operators and pets if used excessively, recent evidence shows that ultrasound is completely free from these side-effects.
