The Bribie Island Tennis Centre has six synthetic grass courts under lights. Our courts are available all year round. The centre is located at Cosmos Park off Sunderland Drive at Banksia Beach, Bribie Island. Courts are available for hire both day and evening use when not in use for club or coaching purposes.
The Bribie Island Tennis club began as the result of a small advertisement in the local newspaper proposing a meeting of those interested in forming a Tennis Club on the island. Until then, tennis enthusiasts had to travel to Burpengary or Caboolture to play. At the meeting a Steering Committee was formed with Bob Barron as President, Janice Brown as Secretary and Robbie Harrison as Treasurer.
