Our kennels are different to others in that we have two separate kennel complexes, one to house the smaller breeds and the other for larger dogs. Our cattery is unlike most in that our runs are large walk in units measuring approximately 1 metre wide by 2 metres high and 3 metres deep. Our purpose built hydrotherapy pool is heated to between 27 and 30C and is open for use by both boarders and the public.

About Us
Report
Located on a 100 acre property just south of the historic village of Berrima, our kennels are truly a country retreat for our guests. Trish lives on the property and in her absence, Naomi - the manager - moves in. Our boarding accommodation is both spacious and airy and is kept spotlessly clean, providing your pet with a hygienic, comfortable, secure and happy environment.
Testimonials
Report
For the past 33 years we have entrusted our much loved pets to the care and attention of Berrima Boarding Kennels. Kennels
Report
Our kennels are unlike many others in that we have two separate kennel complexes, one to house the smaller breeds and the other for larger dogs. We also do not charge any extra for "playtime". Our dogs enjoy 4-5 hours of free running each and every day as part of their usual routine. Our large dog complex is designed to house dogs of medium size up to those extra large pooches.
Cattery
Report
Our cattery is unlike most in that our runs are large walk in units measuring approximately 1 metre wide by 2 metres high and 3 metres deep. Large enough to house multiple cats from the one family. We never mix cats from different families. Each unit has a private sleeping area with an attached run.

When we arrived there was no one there to meet us. No clear signs to say we were not allowed to enter.
First impression with Noni was after 40mins of waiting. She rudely told us we would be in trouble for entering a private property. When we spoke to the owner she accussed us of trespassing.
It is concerning that they ask you to pay, in full ahead of time and aren't even there to greet when dropping off dogs. We decided not to leave our dogs at this kennel as the approach is very concerning for all pet owners. They don't have any interest in the well-being of the animals and would rather our dogs

I've never left a review on anything before but feel compelled to do so after reading some of the negative reviews. We left our 6 month old dalmatian at Berrima Boarding Kennels for a week recently whilst on a holiday. Picking her up a week later it was clear she'd had a great time and had been well looked after in good conditions. Whilst booking the staff were clear about opening and closing times for the office, so no surprises there. They were efficient in communications which should not be confused with being rude as some suggest. I suspect that some of the negative reviews here are probably

The worst experience I have encountered for dog boarding. Within 20 minutes of dropping off, called to say that she could not handle the dog's anxiety and behavioural issues and that she would call at a later time to see if we would pick her up. As we have Christmas plans and they don't answer their phones, we made the decision to cancel the plans because we had no confidence that the dogs would be well taken of. Upon picking up the dogs later in the day, she then ignored my mother who finally got the attention of the young girl at the counter who took her down to get the dogs. The owner then berated

Most unsatisfactory and distressing experience! I had a most unfortunate experience prior to Christmas when I had booked my dogs in for a stay for almost a week having paid in full. I got there a bit earlier on the day and was reprimanded for attempting to get in contact with the office. Following this I was met at the front gate with an employee who angrily informed me I would be in trouble with the owner and when I introduced myself (having had several conversations over the phone with the same person) she did not even look at our dogs who had been in the car for an hour and a half on a very

I have never had such a negative experience with a kennel before. No one was available at the gate to let me into the premises and no one was answering the phone number provided. 30 minutes later I was met by a lady who was disrespectful and rude. She complained about the size of my dogs and that they were behaving anxious. I did not feel comfortable having her take care of my dogs. Terrible service and staff.

Used New Year 2021. Organised, prompt, tidy, dogs well looked after & happy, and didn't lose weight (which they tend to do in kennels). Convenient for Sth Coast visit. Some staff were surly on the phone and made snide comments, with others being pleasant. Staff at pick up and drop off were very pleasant. They make it very clear that pick-up / drop off are at specific times, which were easy to meet. Would happily use again (we were concerned given some recent poor reviews and the phone issues).

My dogs (past and present) have been happily staying at Berrima Boarding Kennels for the last 6 years. Bella and Holly have just had a 3 week stay due to my having an operation. They were safely and happily delivered home to me today by Trish. Noni and her team have looked after them beautifully and gave me updates on how happily they played with other guests. I will continue sending them to stay because I know they will come home happy and healthy.
