Highlands First Aid is owned and run by Kiaran & Ethn Drew. Kiaran's background is both in Rescue with over 16 years experience in one of the busiest Rescue Squads in NSW, and as a Paramedic with Ambulance Service of NSW. Our Events First Aid team are all Trained Emergency personal, including Paramedics and First Responders.

HLTAID001, Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is the first 3.5 hours of the Provide First Aid course. Our enrollment software only allows us to enter one competency, it's still the same enrollment, but you leave after completing the CPR component. All our courses are the same, whether it's your first course, or you have done many courses.

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. This unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
School’s Accredited First Aid Training

All our instructors have an Emergency Service background (and many with Paramedic experience). Our lead trainer Kiaran's background is Registered Paramedic with NSW Ambulance, and team leader in one of the states busiest Rescue Squads. The Federal Health Department sends him to Adelaide and Darwin to teach Provide First Aid in Remote Situations to Health Department staff, and he teaches this course to the Rangers in Kakadu National Park.
HLTAID003 – Provide First Aid Certificate Course

This is the most popular course for the majority of Australians, gaining the First Aid Certificate. This unit provides both the practical skills and the theory required to provide a first aid response. The course is applicable to workers who may be called on to provide a first aid response in a range of situations.
