Counselling Relationships can help you to enrich your life and interpersonal relationships by supporting you as an individual to become conscious of personal patterns, needs and wants in relationship.

I consider an individual and their developmental history, their significant relationships and environmental influences. Therefore my therapy is also trauma informed with an understanding of developmental psychology and the neurobiology of attachment needs in relationship. I also work with couples to understand how to deal with challenges and obstacles such as communication and intimacy that are inherent in relationship dynamics.

I love assisting people to find greater meaning, value, depth and connection within themselves and their interpersonal relationships. I have worked extensively as a Counsellor on the Gold Coast with individuals and couples including families and young people. This is a very rewarding career for me and I continue to study and update my professional skills regularly.
Getting Started

The first step is to contact me to arrange a counselling service to best suit your needs via phone or email. If you are a face to face client, you will fill out a client details form and confidentiality form when you arrive; this will only take a couple of minutes. You can pay for the session at the end with eftpos.

We are feeling excited about offering therapeutic counselling sessions for 2021 and Kimba the therapy dog is assisting me. 1/ We can say" Words That Hurt" when we are feeling emotionally escalated so we then need to apply "Words That Heal" preferable within 24 hours. 2/ Weekly Check In- how are you going?

I offer attachment and trauma informed therapeutic approaches which support emotional regulation and nervous system deescalation. When we are in stress or conflict our defence mechanisms are activated and we can feel at war with ourselves or each other. A safe therapeutic relationship can enable you to tap into resources that support and calm the nervous system and regulate fight/flight/freeze responses.
