Appointments

Existing patients are encouraged to update their contact details from time to time or if any information changes. If you feel that your matter is urgent, please call the practice to speak to one of our reception staff who will assist you with an appointment. If you need to make a non-urgent appointment, or to check test results, or request a prescription or referral, please try to telephone between 12 noon and 2pm when our phones are less busy.
Fees & Charges

Bulli Medical Practice is a not a bulk billing practice. It is the policy of the Practice that payment for consultation is made at the time of your appointment. We accept cash payments and have EFTPOS facilities available (debit and credit card - Visa and Mastercard but NOT American Express).
Medicare rebates may be claimed in person at a Medicare office, or can be sent online directly to Medicare and you will have the option of receiving your rebate via cheque or direct deposit into your nominated bank account.If an account is required, there is an additional administration fee of $15 which is not Medicare rebatable.

Referrals

A GP referral to a medical specialist allows you to claim a Medicare rebate for your specialist consultation. Patients can request a repeat referral from their GP to their medical specialist by calling the practice on 4284 4622 or via HotDoc. It is unlawful to backdate referrals, doing so would breach the Commonwealth Health Insurance Act.
Prescriptions

For regular medications, patients are encouraged to ensure that they have a sufficient number of repeat prescriptions before leaving the practice. This ensures continuity of medication until their next scheduled visit. Patients can request repeat prescriptions or via HotDoc or by calling the Practice on 4284 4622.

We endeavour to respond to your suggestions as soon as possible and to continuously improve our service. From time to time we might also ask you to complete a confidential evaluation questionnaire as part of AGPAL accreditation.
