Activ has a strong and proud history of supporting people with intellectual disability to achieve their goals, break through barriers and increase their independence. Established in 1951, Activ was formed by a group of families who wanted more for their children who lived with disability and had become marginalised by society.

As WA's largest registered NDIS provider, we provide individualised services for people living with intellectual disability. Today, we support more than 1,900 individuals and their families across WA. Activ was established in 1951 when a group of families came together because they believed their children living with intellectual disability deserved better.

Activ Pathways is a registered training organisation (RTO No. 51960) established by Activ in 2009. We deliver tailored training programs to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, support workers in the industry and to schools. Activ Pathways offers training programs that are tailored to the needs and aspirations of each individual by applying a person-centred approach.
