Manly Cabs started operations on the Northern Ceaches in 1953 as a small Co-operative with a focus on our community. Manly Cabs has a sense of pride in the area we service which is from anywhere from North Sydney to Palm Beach. Manly Cabs have been on the forefront of technology and have been eager early adopters of improvements to our industry.

Manly Cabs was the first taxi company in the country to make use of LPG as a full time fuel source for our fleet of cabs. We are now almost 99% Hybrid, which keeps our carbon footprint low. Manly Cabs will soon be introducing full electric vehicles in the near future. Manly Cabs was the first company in the taxi industry to make use of Mobile EFTPOS.
Services
Airport pick up points are located at the Priority Pick up area Green Zones, which are located a short 2 minute walk from both the domestic and international terminals. We also offer parcel pick up, anytime, day or night. Pre-pay for whatever you need and we'll have a driver collect and deliver it to you right away.
Our web booking platform, eCab, is a fantastic full feature booking system that let you book a taxi with as much detail as we can do through our Call Centre. If you are a frequent user, registering will allow you to book multiple taxis, as well as view past booking history, save favourites, check the progress of a booking in real time, and cancel or modify your booking.
Every day, countless items are left behind in Taxis. Phones are very popular, along with wallets, keys and even the odd shoe. We encourage all our customers to get a receipt from the driver on completion of your journey. If you do leave anything behind, it makes finding it much easier. Any items found by our drivers will be handed in to lost property as soon as practical.
All fares charged by Manly Cabs follow the same rules regardless of how you came to be in our taxis, be it hailing, booking on the phone, or via an app. The fares are calculated by a taxi-meter installed in each Manly Cabs vehicle. These meters are security locked so you can be sure the meter is charging what it meant to.
Most of our sedans are Toyota Camry Hybrids, and our maxis are a mix of Toyota Tarago and Hiace and Kia Carnival. We take pride in our fleet, and your safety. All our taxis are put through a rigorous inspection process multiple times per year to make sure they are in top mechanical condition. We have our vehicles pass an eSafety check at an RTA authorised vehicle inspection station.

I called Warringah Cabs for a pick up for a customer who is hard of hearing and they were extremely helpful. The driver knew the customer from a past journey and knew where to take him.

I booked a Manly Cab to take me to hospital the following morning. I waited over 5min prior to calling the operator whom advised me the driver was over 17min away.
Having spoken to the driver he advised he was only given the booking 5min prior to my scheduled collection.
I subsequently called the operator and asked why this was the case given the booking was made the night before. He advised the policy was that drivers are only awarded the booking 5min beforehand and this is how the system works.
If you don’t mind being let down, late or frustrated then book with manly cabs.

Booked for airport 2 days ahead. Helpful operator quoted a price which for 2 people was less than shuttle bus. On day of departure text message alerted us to the imminent arrival of a cab. Cab arrived on time, was very clean with courteous and professional driver. Arrived at airport on time and for a good price which was as quoted. Good experience. We don't do Uber.

After several late arrivals or no shows often ending with me making a follow up call I cant take this constant uncertainty everytime I book a Taxi, will it arrive? This time, another rude operator with no explanation or apology why my booking vanished overnight. Other (negative) reviews are correct, they are not just whingers. I wouldnt engage this company if you have a choice.

I used to always ring Manly Cabs first but after this mornings experience never again. I was left stranded in North Narrabeen for over an hour and ten minutes before I ended up walking to work. The service was disgraceful with no feedback or information on how long a cab would be available. I called the operator over 8 times before I gave up, this is after two taxis went sailing past without stopping. No wonder uber and the other taxi services are doing so well. if you do not pick up your act you will be out of business, full stop, Michael ( you deserve NO stars)

A totally unreliable service. After pre booking a taxi, we are still waiting half an hour later for one to arrive. Apparently we're a priority. It's a joke. Terrible customer service. We're now late for a conference and still no sign of this mysterious taxi! Unbelievable. No wonder everyone chooses uber. Don't use them if you need to get anywhere on time.

Absolute shocking service. I wanted to book a maxi taxi for this Friday and was asked to call back this Saturday. Derrr. I explained we needed to be picked up at 2.30pm on the Friday afternoon but she would not take the booking and told me to call around 2pm that afternoon to see if one was available. We do not take bookings from public places. The public place happens to be from accommodation over at Manly. I even offered to pay upfront. This lady had no idea what she was doing. Will never call them again. No wonder UBER has taken over in leaps and bounds.

Shocking service and rude operator! Could not find a driver for an airport booking, just passed my booking onto another taxi company without letting me know (which after numerous calls only came 30 minutes after original time so probably won’t make the only flight out today). When I asked why they didn’t has the courtesy to let me know so I had a choice to book another taxi service (or make another plan) I was told we cannot phone as too busy - absolutely no apology! Shocking unreliable and in informative service - no wonder other providers are disrupting this traditional offering!
