Osteoarthritis Clinic Procedures
Report
Physiotherapy has demonstrated effectiveness in alleviating symptoms for around 70% of individuals with early-stage osteoarthritis. Regrettably, as the severity of arthritis increases, the effectiveness of physiotherapy tends to diminish.

Even if surgical intervention becomes necessary, physiotherapy remains advantageous. Pre-operative physiotherapy, often referred to as "Pre-hab," can contribute to a speedier recovery process.
Hip
Report
Anterior minimally invasive surgery (also known as the Direct Anterior Approach or DAA) is an alternative surgical technique used in total hip replacement procedures. To reduce the risk of injury to muscles, tendons, vessels and nerves, the procedure involves accessing the hip joint from between two muscles at the front of the hip, rather than detaching muscle from the back or side of the hip.
Revision Hip Replacement Surgical Procedure
Report
There are several ways for a surgeon to perform total hip replacement surgery including (but not limited to): posterior (Moore), lateral (Hardinge or Liverpool), antero-lateral (Watson-Jones), minimally invasive and The Direct Anterior (Hueter) AMIS approaches. All hip replacements if performed correctly will result in a successful pain free outcome that should last at least 20-30 years using modern day implants.
