We can take you from just learning chords and basic melodies, to performing in just 6 months. The concert was a great idea and allowed the kids to showcase what they had learn. For the lessons, I've been happy with Justin's method of always trying to find new ways to engage the child during the lessons, like using a device or post it notes for visual learning.

Leaders of Rock is a music school for aspiring performers of contemporary pop and rock music. By learning music, especially rock and roll, we learn about what we stand for and can express ourselves with confidence and style. Justin has been teaching music for 6 years, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Teaching. He is also the Founder of Music Teachers Melbourne, the largest social network of music teachers in Melbourne. His studies in the Australian Boys Choir and VCE Music led him to pursue his performing career as a lead guitarist in the rock band Rejuvenate, as well as lead guitarist in music ministries in Melbourne.

Our guitar lessons are best suited for beginners and intermediate players who want to sing and play rhythm guitar or play lead guitar in a band. You will become a more versatile guitarist by learning notes, chords and scales on the guitar using sheet music, guitar tablature and chord diagrams.

Our singing lessons are ideal for beginner and aspiring singer-songwriters who wants to sing and play the guitar or piano. You will gain a good understanding of the three different voices (chest voice, mid voice and head voice), and build your understanding of music theory across multiple instruments.
