Le-Sands was established in 1981 with humble beginnings in a factory garage in the south Sydney suburb of Brighton-Le-Sands, from which the business took its name.

Le-Sands now manufactures interior window and door blinds, safety screens, insect screens, security screens and fire-escape screens in its factory at Rockdale for the residential and commercial markets.
