In 2020 Community Care TASMANIA celebrates 30 years of successfully providing local home care services to the whole Tasmanian community. We began life in 1990 as the Community Options Service. This was a pilot project auspiced by the Launceston Migrant Resource Centre and funded through the Home and Community Care program (HACC).

We have been operating in the Tasmanian community for over 29 years. We started as a provider of services to northern migrant communities but we now provide care across the whole Tasmanian community. We offer a full range of government services plus self-funded care for self-funded retirees who may need a little bit or a lot of care to keep them safe and comfortable and happy at home.

At Community Care TASMANIA we pride ourselves on the the quality, friendliness and professionalism of our care support staff who deliver quality care to our clients every day. It was great to be kept so well informed, from the regular emails and video hook-ups with Jenni in the office, to getting links to updates from the World Health Organisation and other bodies.

A number of national and state organisations currently partner with Community Care TASMANIA on special projects that support our delivery of quality home care services. We are extremely grateful for their generous support. This will enable us to deliver more client services more efficiently. Previously The W.D.
