My name is Alan Parsons and I am the Managing Director of H.Parsons Funerals. Having grown up living next door to the family-owned funeral home and assisting my father at every opportunity, I was provided with an in depth understanding of the funeral industry from a very young age. After leaving school I studied and worked as a laboratory technician which allowed me to live in the United States for a short period.

H.Parsons has a deep rooted history in the Illawarra with humble family beginnings. Since that time we have grown to be the premiere Funeral service in Wollongong. The Parsons family has continuously owned H.Parsons since our doors first opened in 1893, over 128 years ago. In 1849 Matthew and Puah's sixth child Henry was born in Fairy Meadow, and at the age of 44, he purchased William Hudson Funerals then located at 153 Keira Street, Wollongong.
