Hang It Picture Framing

We frame photographs and artworks, needlework, jerseys, canvases, and all sorts of memorabilia. Memorabilia such as football jumpers, artifacts, flags and medals, record albums or anything that is 3D will require special treatment, depending on its size, shape, weight, durability, and layout. They will need deep frames to accommodate the height.

Store and carry your frames back-to-back, so the hanging screws don't scratch the front of the frame underneath. Avoid carrying your picture by the wire - it's not designed for the added tension from "walkers bounce". Don't leave your pictures in the car. Condensation attracts mould growth, and the heat can cause the conservation tapes to loosen.

Original art is hinged in place, so that no permanent fixing is made. You can choose from decorative acid-free mats, or conservation quality rag mats, and choose from standard glass, UV protective glass, non-reflecitve glass, or acrylic. Needlework is stretched over an acid-free backing, and laced across the back to hold it in place.

Needlework is placed over an acid-free backing. It is temporarily pinned into place on the edges, and adjusted for correct placement, and straight lines. Once the needlework is sitting correctly, it is laced up across the back to hold it in place. We do not use staples or glue on needleworks. If your tapestry is warped, (for example if it was not produced on a frame) we will need to "block" it, to bring it back into shape.

We print on high quality photo paper and textured art paper, using archival inks. So why buy other people's art when you can display your own! You'd be surprised how some of your ordinary photos can be made into something really special, that your happy to display. We can also use your photos to produce a customised image, where they are combined into one picture.
