Charming Dalgety House Museum, dating to 1903, is one of the few remaining examples of early-20th-century architecture. Displays tell the story of Port Hedland's early development days. Courthouse Arts Centre & Gallery has a rotation of contemporary art exhibitions, as well as a gallery shop that sells Aboriginal and local art and crafts.

Facilities ok, one of the most expencive stops being a mine town.. literally nothing to come to port headland for except stopping for fuel and continue driving so no need for high cmping fees.

Friendly staff, lovely clean pool. Clean toilets and showers. Italian restaurant on site. Trees between sites is nice. Looks like the gardens etc are currently being refurbished. $250 for 7 days. Much more comfortable than the overflow.

No doubt the caravan park is awesome, but I'm just very appreciative of the public laundry/laundromat out the front!
Great idea for the area guys!

A good combination of options from van sites to cabins and everything in between. Has a small place to eat that does nice pizzas.

Started with 3 nights, extended to 5 then 7 then 10 so guess that says it all!! Trina is a great Manager & served us well in arranging our extra nights with the park being sooooo busy.
The restaurant at the front is fabulous, looks nothing but food is too die for. Thanks folks.

Stayed for two weeks, funny rules can't use your own washing machine yet the "Strictly NO pets rule seems quite lax all in all not a bad stop. The best pizza I have ever had, well done to the pizza chef.

What a difference new management make! Good on you Mark & Trina you’ve done a great job cleaning the place up. The van sites are shady and spacious. A lot different than before - it felt like you were camped in a gravel pit. No longer! The gardens are coming along really well and the pool actually looked inviting. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Joy was brilliant and a big help. Another excellent change! The amenities are really clean and the price was reasonable, especially for Port Hedland.
