Tuggeranong Family Action formed to meet the child care needs of the Tuggeranong Valley. Tuggeranong Community Service also formed to provide community services for the elderly, transport for the disadvantaged, referrals and advocacy. Tuggeranong Community Centre opened on the shores of Lake Tuggeranong as a dedicated base for the Tuggeranong Community Service.

We are the largest children's services (early childhood education and care) provider in Canberra and the surrounding ACT region. We operate multiple high-quality child care and education centres, out of school hours care - before and after school care services and school holiday programs, as well as support self-employed family day care and in-home care educators.

Will pay for four medical scripts under our crisis support program and ensure people can continue to get their essential medication. Will pay for two free shops in the community pantry, putting food on the table for someone in need for at least two weeks. Will give someone in need four free shops in our community pantry to shop for food and essential items for at least a month.

Together with the Board, I am delighted to introduce Communities@Work's 2019 - 2022 Strategic Plan. It sets out the priorities and themes for the organisation over the next three years. In our new Strategic Plan, we embrace ongoing inquiry, reflection and action with an eye toward future goals and the journey to excellence and positive social change.
