Almost 100 years of experience has taught us that saying goodbye means something different to everyone. Our role is to bring families, friends and communities together for a celebration of life that reflects their culture and beliefs. Our services are designed to offer comfort, support and respect, as we guide families through every stage of the funeral planning process, creating a legacy that lasts well beyond the funeral.
Meeting the Funeral Director
Report
There is usually some time between making the initial funeral arrangements, and the time of the actual service. The length of time will depend on your instructions and cultural requirements, and the circumstances of the death. There is no need to feel rushed. Allow 1-2 hours for the first meeting, to get the funeral arrangements started.
Burial or Cremation
Report
Just as life means something different to everyone, so does finding the right way to say goodbye. We've learned that some Australians find a burial offers the tradition they need to come to terms with their loss, while others prefer a cremation. We use our experience to help every person come to a decision that allows them to uphold the cultural traditions, stories and memories of their loved one.

Over the years, we've learned that saying goodbye is about coming together and embracing the traditions, cultures and stories that make up a person. But we also know it's not always possible for everyone to be in one place, at one time. Guardian Funerals partners with OneRoom to provide high-quality video streaming for family and friends unable to attend the funeral service.
