The system has 3 specific programs: 2 for children, our Bright Stars program (5-8 yr olds), our Super Stars program (9-14 yr olds); and a separate class for Adults. We pay special attention to new people, and help each individual as much as we can reach their potential and beyond.

At WestStar we teach martial arts designed specifically for children. It's a practical, fun, easy to learn system that instils the fundamentals of Martial Arts technique, self defence, confidence, discipline, respect, and focus. In our kid's martial arts classes they will learn a combination of punches, kicks, and self defence moves developed from Taekwondo, Kickboxing, Judo and Ju Jitsu.

At WestStar Martial Arts we teach the Northstar Ju Jitsu system. 5 minutes to learn, a lifetime to master. We guarantee that even after your first class you will have usable skills that will stay with you for life. Northstar Ju Jitsu immortalises the spirit of the ancient samurai in modern society, offering a newer, evolved approach to martial arts.

From the first lesson you will learn basic, practical self defence moves that can be used immediately. It really depends on your schedule. For children we recommend once per week, for adults you can choose from 5 classes each week. The cost depends on how often you can train and your level of commitment, but the average is around $14 for a 1 hour adult class, and $19 for children.
