Player is a family owned and operated business providing music lessons to children and adults in North Perth since 2014. We pride ourselves on providing music education in a creative and unique environment with dedicated industry profession teachers. Located at 5 Woodville Lane, North Perth we are situated in the North Perth Town Hall complex.
Top party place! We took our 10 year old and his buddies to Player 1 for a party, and it was so great. They were incredibly accommodating and friendly and they made the party experience a breeze for the parents and great fun for the kids. The range of games is superb. Great for the adults to reconnect with some old classics, and kids can chose from current and retro options.

We provide professional tuition in Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, Bass Guitar, Drums, Singing, Kids Choir, and School Holiday Programs. You can book a free trial lesson here. Our waiting room is filled with adults and kids playing board games and retro video arcades while enjoying a treat from the cafe. You can also have a birthday party at Player 1.

We feel that music education should not a one size fits all approach, hence we offer a range of programs with teachers who each have their own, researched and reputable styles of teaching based on years of experience. From babies to adults, absolute beginners to advanced learners, we are here to support you and your goals in music education with student based learning!
Drums

Our curriculum covers key elements of drum instruction, from hand/foot coordination and proper stick placement to more advanced rudiments, poly-rhythms and ethnic beats. Lessons are offered by Cain, a professional drummer, and experienced music teacher currently completing his Bachelor of Music Education at WAAPA.
Singing Lessons

Singing lessons at Player 1 are tailor-made to each individual singer and their needs and goals. Sing like a rock star or learn classical techniques, whatever you like; your voice is your instrument! From your first lesson our singing teachers Lucy and Nonie will combine techniques and methods to help you fine tune your instrument, strengthen your voice and bring out your natural talents!
Guitar, Bass, Ukulele

Our guitar teachers are available during the day and evenings for homeschoolers or adults in group sessions or private lessons. Acoustic or electric guitar, bass guitar & ukulele in a range of styles and levels, classical to contemporary. We provide lessons based on each students needs with a structured step-by-step approach in a friendly and supportive environment at our North Perth studio.
