There is evidence that yoga nidra helps relieve stress. An ancient technique from India, it has now spread worldwide and is also being applied by the US Army to assist soldiers to recover from post-traumatic stress disorder.
Resilience is the psychological quality that allows some people to be knocked down by the adversities of life and come back at least as strong as before. HeartMath Building Personal Resilience Program is most notably used for the prevention of burnout and self-regulation as well as energy management, stress and is being researched for the use in chronic health conditions.

As a Yoga teacher colleague and friend I highly recommend Jeanne Long's Pilates and Yoga classes. I took Kundalini Yoga classes with her many years ago in Sedona which opened up a whole new dimension of Yoga for me in terms of energy. She is a wonderful Yoga teacher! Recently I have taken some Pilates classes with her which once again has stimulated an even deeper way of approaching all aspects of the body.
