Leongatha Golf Club is a classic Vern Morcom design that has been a hidden treasure in Victoria's South Gippsland region for far too long. It is a scenic layout that covers terrain from hilly to gently rolling with wide santa-ana couch fairways flanked by natural bushland. The greens are also a surprise for a visiting golfer.

Midway between Inverloch and Leongatha and set in magnificent natural bush, Leongatha Golf Club is a beautiful 18 hole all weather course designed by H. Vernon Morcom, who with his brother were the course architects for many of Australia's top golf courses, Vern was also the superintendent for Kingston Heath Golf Club from 1928-67.
Our Plans

The Board re-commenced the process for development of a new plan in the latter part of 2020, with a review of our progress under the previous plan; consideration of preliminary work on a new plan undertaken by the previous Board; discussions with various stakeholders and a club-wide members' survey.
Competition golf

Leongatha Golf Club is proud to be one of the few clubs that opens all its competition days to both male & female members. Please note that a time sheet is in operation each day from Boxing Day to the end of January. Open Stableford Competitions occur on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday and any Public Holidays during this period.

We love to play our course when it's in great condition. Further to this, we're lucky to have a Superintendent and ground staff who do such great work providing us with such an excellent course to play day in day out. Leongatha Golf Club has three flexible indoor event spaces available as well as our nationally ranked Vern Morcom 18-hole golf course.
