Action Rehab are focused on treatment and rehabilitiation of Melbourne's hands, wrists, elbows and shoulders. If you've sustained an injury to or are living with an upper limb (arm) condition then we want to help! With no referral required our therapists are available for appointments across Melbourne and Gippsland.

At Action Rehab our therapists are experienced in the care of shoulder/elbow/wrist and hand injuries and we have been helping people with conditions of the upper limb for almost 20 years. Our team of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists only treat upper limb injuries. We undergo further training in upper limb management.

Finger Fractures or sprained finger occur commonly through trauma. Treatment of your injury will depend on the location and type of fracture or sprain sustained. Mallet Finger is caused by the rupture of the extensor tendon and will prevent the finger tip from straightening. Volar Plate Injury occurs when the joint in the finger is hyperextended (bent backwards) causing the volar plate ligament to tear.
Arthritis Treatment

Action Rehab provide treatment of arthritic disorders. Our Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists have extensive training and skill to assist with the treatment of deformity, pain and stiffness that can be caused by inflammatory disorders. DIP and PIP Joint Arthritis characterised by painful, stiff and achy fingers caused by degeneration of the joint.

I agree to give 2 business days' notice of any appointment cancellation or pay a $30 cancellation fee. A cancellation fee will be charged personally to Workcover and TAC patients where 2 business days' notice is not given.
