Our Principal Practitioner, Dr Stragalinos graduated from Melbourne University in 1995. He trained at various hospitals and clinics in Melbourne and country Victoria prior to obtaining his Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Stragalinos has been a full-time practicing GP in Oakleigh for almost 20 years. His caring and down to earth nature make him especially popular with children and young families. His special interests include Paediatrics, Gynaecology and pregnancy shared-care and Men's Health. He has two young boys who keep him busy when he is not working and he is also an avid tennis fan.

Station Square Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice. We bulk-bill Pensioners, Commonwealth Senior Health Care Card Holders, Health Care Card holders, DVA Card holders and Children under 16 who have a valid Medicare Card. The fees below are indicative of private charges in the practice and patients should be aware that individual doctors may bill at different rates.

At Station Square Medical Centre, one of our team members will ring patients with urgent or non-urgent results that require review with the doctor, in order to book an appointment. If you do not hear from us, kindly phone our clinic to check if your results have been received, they are usually available 3 days after having the test.

After Hours Service

For after hours medical attention you may contact the National Home Doctor Service on 13 74 25 (13 SICK) to arrange a Locum Doctor to attend your home. This service is bulk-billed. If you ring Station Square Medical Centre outside of our operating hours, your call will be automatically diverted to the National Home Doctor Service.
