Concrete Pools
Our concrete pools offer unmatched design flexibility for creating unique shapes and features. Using reinforced concrete construction, we build durable pools that can incorporate waterfalls, spas, and infinity edges. Each project uses high-quality materials like steel-reinforced structures and Pebblecrete finishes to ensure longevity while meeting Australian standards. Clients receive a comprehensive package including engineering certification and superior filtration systems.
Saltwater Pools
We specialise in saltwater pool systems that provide a gentler swimming experience. Our installations use advanced salt chlorination technology to maintain water quality with reduced chemical handling. These pools feature corrosion-resistant components and energy-efficient pumps designed for Queensland's climate. Every saltwater pool includes a complete maintenance kit with initial chemical treatment and a four-week complimentary service to ensure optimal system performance.
Pool Landscaping
Our landscaping services integrate pools seamlessly with surrounding environments. We create functional outdoor spaces that enhance safety and aesthetics through strategic plant selection, hardscaping, and lighting. The process includes site analysis to determine soil conditions and drainage requirements, ensuring sustainable results that complement both residential and commercial properties across the Sunshine Coast region.
Pool Fencing
We provide code-compliant pool fencing solutions that prioritise safety without compromising style. Our installations meet strict Australian standards for pool barriers, offering options including glass, metal, and timber designs. Each fencing project includes council approval assistance and integration with existing property features, ensuring secure access control while maintaining visual appeal and property value.
Custom Designs
Our custom design process creates tailored pool solutions for unique properties. From initial concept sketches to 3D visualisations, we collaborate with clients to develop functional, aesthetically pleasing designs. The service includes site-specific considerations like sun exposure, wind patterns, and council regulations, ensuring each pool perfectly matches the client's lifestyle and property characteristics.

In 2019 as a family we decided to employ a company on the Sunshine Coast to construct a pool that would 1# improve the life style we had within a new community and home and 2# increase our future sales of our property. At the time and after research we called upon three companies to provide an inspection, provide feed back and constructive feed back along with justified cost. From the final three we decided on "POOLS BY DESIGN"
We could not have made a better choice in the final selection with all procedures to put in place a complete contract that served to protect the client and insure confirmation

The team at pools by design did a fantastic job. They took the time to discuss the options, designed the pool ensuring that landscaping was considered and kept us informed every step of the way. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

We engaged with Pools by Design last April and got a no obligation quote from Lachie who was really helpful with suggestions around layout, size and costs. After some other quotes ans research we decided to go with Pools by Design - we were apprehensive at first due to google reviews etc but I can honestly say these guys were awesome. They helped us out with the Pricing of the pool and the quality of work, timeliness and communication couldn't be faulted. All of the different trades on site were professional and we are really please with the final product - although its a bit cold to use at

It has been an easy process from the beginning to the end. Pools by design makes it so easy to do some changes .... even on the day they are digging! A big shout out to Shane (can't get a better project manager!), also Simon, Daz, and Darren. Thanks for everything.
