Your Zero-Waste Store in Exmouth
Ningaloo Bulk Foods was established in 2019 as Exmouth's first zero-waste store, offering bulk foods and eco-friendly household products. Since taking ownership in February 2024, I've continued our mission to provide sustainable, affordable options for locals and tourists while protecting the Ningaloo Reef ecosystem. Our store eliminates plastic packaging by offering over 300 products in refillable containers, including organic foods, natural health products, and biodegradable cleaning supplies. With a naturopathic background, I ensure our product range maintains high nutritional standards while supporting environmental conservation. We've become the Gascoyne region's sole bulk food distributor, saving thousands of plastic containers from landfill annually. Our commitment extends beyond retail through educational initiatives about waste reduction and sustainable living. We partner with local producers and prioritise ethical sourcing while maintaining competitive pricing. The store's expansion into online shopping and naturopathy services demonstrates our ongoing adaptation to community needs. Our team's expertise in environmental stewardship and holistic health positions us as leaders in sustainable retail for remote communities. This approach has made us a trusted local business that proves eco-conscious shopping can be both accessible and affordable.

Lovely little store, they sell a lot of quality foods. Every time we are in Exmouth we buy some falafel mix and some other treats for ourselves!

Huge product selection. Do yourself a favour and check out their amazing lolly and snack wall- sooo good for beach trips and camping (so many chocolates!). It seems like madness to visit such a stunning place only to leave behind your rubbish buried in a tip on Ningaloo's doorstep, but now you don't have to. The store had lots of donated jars and containers of different sizes in case you can't or forget to BYO. Friendly service, cool air conditioning and a beautiful shop. 5 stars!

Love this zero waste shop!! So happy to see alternatives to packaged items right where we need it the most: on the beautiful Ningaloo reef coast! Special mention to the dry falafel mix - just add a small amount of water and fry it off... ta dahh! Amazing falafels and an easy vegetarian+no waste camping meal. Lots of jars or containers to use which was really handy for us zero waste travellers. Support this awesome shop!!
