Repairs
Report
At Brighton Dentures, basic Repairs and Tooth Additions can be completed in the same day, simple breaks even sooner. If you think your denture is just not right, make an appointment and we can usually provide a solution for your problem. Don't try super-glueing your broken denture, special materials and techniques are required to maintain the original strength and fit of your denture.
Relines
Report
If your denture is loose and rubbing the gums, a reline can restore the correct fit and function. This is done by taking a fresh impression, inside the existing denture, and recording an accurate copy of the gums. This impression is then converted to a new denture fitting surface that perfectly fits your mouth, improving adhesion between the denture and gums and restoring dental function.
Mouthguards
Report
Mouthguards can be claimed on most dental insurance plans and can be made in 24 hours if required. A child will need a new mouthguard roughly every 6 to 12 months because their mouth is changing shape so quickly. An adult mouthguard should last 2-3 years. Custom made mouthguards are available in a variety of colours.
