We believe in combining both traditional pharmacy products and natural medicines to give the best health outcomes for our patients. The most interesting thing about being a compounding pharmacy is that we can custom make products or medications that are not commercially available and we can formulate the products to suit individual needs.
We love and enjoy the challenge of solving problems. Hence we decided to further our EDUCATION with integrative medicines on top of our pharmacy degree. Through the integrative courses, we have learnt more in depth on the different enzymes, nutrition that we could all be lacking and we are able to compound these supplements to give a better health outcomes.

This pharmacy started being the only day and night pharmacy on the sunshine coast open from 8am to 10pm many years ago. We brought this pharmacy 12 years ago and decided to put a little compounding room in this day and night pharmacy. That's how we started bringing a bit of niche on the sunshine coast and we started looking after patients that require their medications to be compounded.

I have been the proprietor of Maroochy Day and Night Pharmacy on the Sunshine Coast for the past ten years, and provides practitioner support to prescribers in integrative medicine.

Compounding ordering

A valid prescription is required from your doctor before we can compound any products. The prescription can either be dropped personally to the pharmacy, or by fax, email or post. If you fax, email or post your prescription please make sure you include your full name, address and contact phone number.
Customised Vitamins Packs
Report
People who look after themselves well, often take multiple vitamins in their daily regimen. We would like to make your life easier by putting all these vitamins in the blister packs. We use cold seal packs which won't affect the temperature of the vitamins in comparison with some of the hot seal packs.

AVOID. Apparently open 365 days, suspect with NO customer service on 365 days too. Set up a line up versus leaving rude customers determine who's next. Get off the phone if you're on site, with 10 people waiting! I left, went around the corner got served immediately with a smile and suspect saved $ too.

They have lost my entire script.
I took my script in over a week ago now. Last week on Sunday.
I was told they would need to order in my script and that someone would call me on Monday to take payment for my script.
When I called back Tuesday no one could find it. When I called back Wednesday I was told they would “turn the place over looking for it”. When I called back Thursday they said the pharmacist gave it back to me on the Sunday. Which is a complete lie and I have been receiving a lot of attitude when I call up clearly upset that no one seems to have any idea where is it.

Spent 16 days!!!! giving this outfit a chance to fill my prescription would! Called them a multitude of times, on hold / leave a message.... they never replied!!! I made 2 trips from Caloundra, both times to hear excuses about the delay! On the 3rd visit I took my script after hearing another lame excuse! Fortunately mine was not a life threatening /altering item, otherwise, I probably wouldn't be writing this review to save others the same type of service!

Third time I've been sent home with another persons script!! If you value your confidentiality don't go here. This is the third time I've been sent home with someone else scripts! It's either the wrong medication or wrong script. Second last time I got someone else medication and my repeat script in the bag! I don't know how you can continue to make the same mistake but obviously customer care and public safely it not this chemists priority!! I hate the idea of someone else having my personal and medication information, where is the public safety??? Owner Stephen Young refuses to talk to me and

The pharmacist helped us out, solving a complicated issue involving prescriptions from interstate, for both our 30 year old daughter and an emergency compounding medication for her 2 month old son.
They are caring, efficient and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that you are well taken care of. And also able to explain the red tape and what needs to be done to make things happen.
