One thing we like about this theme is it's focus on conversion boosting features with a number of ecommerce features that would otherwise require apps. Before you start making changes to your site it's probably a good idea to get a benchmark of how it's performing now. Load times that are over 5 seconds in Pingdom are going to hurt your Google rankings and sales so at a minimum we want to be under that.
