Our award winning course and Clubhouse facilities are open to the public, so drop in for a round of golf, a cool drink, a snack or a sumptuous meal. Visiting golfers are welcome to join in our competitions or just enjoy a social round with friends. We offer a pleasant easy walking course and you'll find our social tees challenging but enjoyable - a test of skill but built for fun.

R&A and USGA Rules recommends that stakes and lines defining the boundaries of Out-of-Bounds should be white. Where the boundary fence exists, in the absence of stakes or lines, the fence defines the boundary. Note the boundary of the section of the out-of-bounds behind the 18th green is marked by a line painted on the ground.
Join Our Club

Once you reach the minimum playing standard you'll be allocated a Golf Australia handicap and you'll be eligible to play in competitions. Members with a current GA handicap transferring from another club will retain that handicap. Maximum handicaps are 36 for men and 45 for women.

Social Golf

The Club offers a wide range of golfing options from weekday and weekend competitions, corporate golf events for your guests, through to a 9 or 18 hole social challenge with your friends. For the young players, the Club supports Junior Golf, which specialises in introducing junior players to the game with 3, 6, 9 and 18 hole competitions organised depending on the players' skills.
Corporate Golf

Enjoy 9 or 18 holes at the renowned Mackay Golf course. A pleasant easy walking course, you will find our social tees challenging but enjoyable, a test of skill but built for fun. Club hire can be arranged for players who do not have their own set, but still want to get involved. Prizes keep things interesting.
Junior Golf
Report
The Junior Golf Programme caters for boys and girls aged from 5 (or younger) to 18. Beginners start playing 3-hole competitions and progress through 6 and 9 holes before obtaining their Golf Australia handicap for 18 hole competitions. The emphasis is on fun and enjoyment whilst learning the self discipline and etiquette inherent in the game.
