Based in Bentleigh East, VIC, our music teachers focus on what is important to you - the individual student. This way, all students can learn the music they love to play. Our program is well rounded and balanced, using: theory, instrumental technique, ear training, reading music and music history, to allow you to achieve your individual goals. Virginia specializes in Classical Piano Music. She is an innovative and imaginative tutor with an extensive repertoire, relating to students of all ages. When I was aged 8 my mother took myself and my sister to a piano performance in my home town in Spain, and it was the beginning of my musical journey.

Born in Melbourne, Maurice graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Music (Professional Music) - Berklee College of Music, Boston, MA, USA, and an Advanced Certificate in Music Performance (Jazz/Pop), Box Hill TAFE, Melbourne, Australia. He also has a BEc. Returning home after almost 10 years abroad, Maurice has gigged extensively in the USA, Europe and Mexico, playing guitar in a wide variety of settings.

Nicholas Miceli has involved himself in both performance and education, which makes him a perfect fit for the ethos at MOTOWN music school. His goal of becoming a working orchestral musician, playing the violin has already begun. Nicholas has been the Principal Second Violin of the Melbourne Youth Orchestra.
Bass Guitar Teachers

Having graduated from James Morrison Academy of Music with an Honours degree in Music, Tim relocated to Melbourne and began gigging professionally. Specializing in Jazz, Tim has been fortunate enough to both study and play with some of Australia's best musicians. Tim has been lucky enough to study Bass with Phil Stack from Thirsty Merc, and studied trombone under James Morrison and Wycliffe Gordon.

At MOTOWN music school, we aim to foster resilience and nurturing in a quiet, peaceful environment. The studio is wheelchair accessible. We have had successful interaction with NDIS Participants, emphasising quality of life and doing what's fun. We offer a music performance based program. All students are encouraged to interact and perform at their best.
