About
Report
AFDA members are bound by a strict Code of Ethics and Practice designed to meet both community needs and expectation in all aspects of service delivery. The code is a reassurance to the community of sincere care and professional service, particularly at a time of uncertainty and distress for grieving family and relatives.
Our History
Report
In 1884 the Guyett family migrated from England to Melbourne. They later settled in Numurkah and in 1887 moved to Maryborough, where our great-grandfather, Thomas George Guyett, worked for a firm of funeral directors, or 'undertakers' as they were then known. He and his wife, Lillian, had 13 children.
Funeral Services

Guyetts Funerals provide caring and compassionate funeral services in Warrnambool, helping friends and family create a touching tribute to their loved ones. Our experienced funeral directors work with you to fulfil the wishes of the deceased and those organising the funeral. A direct disposition (burial/cremation) takes place at a time allocated by the funeral director, in conjunction with the cemetery/crematorium staff.
Coffins & Caskets
Report
The selection is available to view at Eastern Park, and our friendly funeral directors are happy to help you make your selection. Double raised lid, beautifully hand polished solid cedar with matching wooden bar handles. The natural grain and routed side panels, together with contoured mouldings and highest quality interior, create a quality product.
Hearses
Report
When Guyetts Funerals first operated in Port Fairy our hearse was horse-drawn. Today we have a fleet headlined by two specially made Chrysler hearses and a mourning car. The hearses were converted by one of Australia's most respected special purpose vehicle dealers, Hillier Conversions, in Tenterfield, NSW.
