Sunburst Motel

A two minute walk to the beautiful Broadwater which has lovely calm waters ideal for families. We are within 5 minutes of two major shopping centres, Harbour Town and Runaway Bay, less than 10 minutes from Australia Fair and 20 minutes from Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. We are only 10 minutes from Sea World, 15 minutes to Dreamworld, Wet n Wild, Warner Bros, Movie World and AUSTRALIAN OUTBACK SPECTACULAR.

The Motel was built in the early 1980's on what was then the only road into the Gold coast. It has seen many managers and a few owners over the years but for the last 12 years has been own by a family local to the gold coast. 2 mins away from the Broadwater and local Restaurants and Bars. Hing Chinese restaurant is over the road and Pizza Face along the street all with minutes from the motel.

Here at the Sunburst Motel we have 7 standard rooms consisting of a Queen and single bed. There are four family rooms which consist of a double bed and two single beds. The family rooms have plenty of space for an extra bed or cot and can comfortably sleep up to Five. All of our rooms have a Colour television & DVD player, toaster, microwave, refrigerator, iron and ironing board.

Rooms are not serviced daily if staying longer then 1 night, We do come in and check the rooms, replace the bin liners toilet rolls, however we do not replace towels this is done on the 3rd day. A full service is done on day 5 when we re make the beds and clean everything. Please do put extra rubbish in these bins as unwanted guest do get in, even though we have pest control barriers up.

We kindly ask that you are aware of areas where children are and be mindful of the smoke entering inside the rooms. A Cleaning fee is charged if found that the room has been smoked in & smells of smoke. Please respect our rules here as most people like a room to smell fresh and clean not of stale smoke these days.
